¿Channa Marulius or Marulioides?

Hello, i am alejandro, from Uruguay (south american)

Please helpme identify, Have i a marulius or marulioides?
I buy marulius, but look the pics, is marulius really?

I still say they could be Marulioides.
My juvi marulioides had the orange eye on the tail, and those vertical bands look Marulioides to me.

Marulius usually have blotches rather than bands.

But that said, all your pics are of VERY VERY stressed fish, so their true color / patterning isn't showing.

The last picture clearly shows that it's a Channa Marulioides.

Yes. 100% Marulioides.

They can get to around 26-28".
Very fast growers.

I got a bonded pairof "blue" spec Marulioides, and I love them to bits.
I got mine at 2.5" in December 2009.

This is a pic of my female now: (a sub adult at 16")

As you can see, if fed right and kept in a big enough tank, they can grow very very fast!
