Yes mate, some People keep these in Communitys, but usually its either of two things, tank is absolutely massive<big> like you see at an aqaurium, or there kept in the commuinity tank from a very young age, but as they grow, they will more than likely turn one day ending in disaster, which usually happens, can you manage to locate channa in Uruguay?

Yes, I keep my micropeltes with a silver aro and 2 blood parrot cichlids in a 40 gallon tank (its still a juvenile). I'm planning on moving him and the arowana with my CKF in his 100 gallon and when it gets repaired, I'm moving all 3 to my old fish pond. You can generally keep micropeltes with other fishes in community tanks as long as the other fishes are at least the same size as the micropeltes, or bigger.
