I have a 270g “touch pond” that will be our main tank in the fishroom. The overall tank stand combo is 36” tall and the tank is 21” tall. As seen in the picture, there is plastic cover the back 5” or so and plan on having that section even with neighboring tank stands. This does not leave any room behind that section for filtration, stand is too short for filtration under it, and the tank is not drilled. I am leaning towards a pond waterfall box above the back of the tank, with media, and filter pads in it for filtration.
Tank is going to house a fahaka puffer, a colony of kribensis and a colony of leopard danios.(fish that are affordable snacks for the puffer if he decides that’s who it wants to be)
are there any other options I am not thinking of? Any pump recommendations that would be as safe as possible for any baby kribensis/leopard danios?
