Ammonia 0 pmm
Nitrite 0 ppm
Nitrate 0 ppm
:nilly:

If you all are wondering how, well I have 2 BioWheel 350s on my 75 and a big bag of Purigen. The biowheels have been taking care of the Ammonia and the Nitrite, and when I added the Ammonia on Friday, Nitrate was at 15ppm and now it is down to 0! I have carbon in the filter and the temperature is 81 degrees for all of you that are wondering how it works. There are about 20 fish in that tank, most are 2 inches but about 6 are 4 inches. This just goes to show that Purigen works. Other than the Purigen, does anyone else have an explanation for why my nitrates are low.

Hmmmm....sounds like a winner. I have two cycled penguin 150's on my 30g fry tank. They are poopin' faster than the 150's can process the ammonia. I have a bag of carbon/ammonia remover but it only took a dent out of it. I have 30+ molly fry that are 1/2 inch long. I am scratching my head over this tank. :irked:

Purigen and water changes

Yep, I did a 30% change yesterday and added about a gallon of cycled bioballs directly to the tank. When I got home today the ammonia was down to .25 from 1.0

Oh and I had to take away one of the 150's last night because six pink convicts followed me home last night. :D

Hehe, I went to the LFS today to get rid of two 1.5 foot channel cats, and three 6" sun fish, and I came home with a Stonefish!
