03.18.11 - Discus & Friends

Haven't done a real photoshoot in a while, so I had to put the camera to work! And I should have cleaned the glass better before shooting!! Just a few pics of my wild discus from John/Snookn and the other tank inhabitants.

For those wondering, pics were taken with a Nikon D90, Nikon 17-55mm f/2.8, and a SB-900 speedlight. Enjoy!

Yeah it's a great lens, super sharp piece of glass. Too bad I'll have to get rid of it if I go fullframe. But no worries, it will be replaced by an even more beastly 24-70mm f/2.8

wow, beautiful fish man, i love that you can have ghost shrimp in there and not worry about them being eaten, very nice.
