I'm particularly proud of this set. I think these are my clearest and best exposed pics to-date! Used the upside down rain gutter trick and bounced two speedlights into it. Slapped on my 70-200mm f/2.8 and sat back about 6ft. Then i just sat back and took some pictures. These were the best ones.

Shutter speed was 1/200th, ISO 200, and aperture f/8 to f/11

Enjoy!! :)

Nice. Great looking pics as usual :D

thanks guys! i wish they were a little sharper but these guys zip around the tank too damn fast. 1/200th seems slow sometimes

Great photo skillz! What species of fish is that with the green lateral stripe?

Nice indeed!

Would you care to elaborate a little more on the "upside down rain gutter trick" or point me in a direction where I can learn about it?

Thanks...

thanks! sure, here's a picture of the setup. i bounce the speedlight into the rain gutter to get a nice uniform bounce flash across the tank. for this photo session i used two remote flash units
