09 Lobster Season SoCal Style

Been hitting the local inshore scene pretty hard for lobsters. Been doing a mixture of hooping and diving, for both lobsters and stone crabs.


Some accidental catches:

13.9lb Lobster caught in a hoop net. Another one about 1.5lb smaller was caught about 10 minutes later

Lobster Halves with Japanese Mayo/Garlic/Chive Spread.

1" slices of Rib Eye Steaks

Some steamed Crabs

45 Gallon Rubbermaid tub almost filled to the rim with legals.

Relly nice catches. Those lobsters on the barbacue made me hungry.

caught some of those crabs right on the beach at santa monica when i visited pretty cool.
