aiight tossed got rid of the pacu and both of my plecos,,, and bought a 5 inch striped raphael cat and 2 convicts (to breed) for my trimac to eat the babies but as of right now in my 55gal is my 1inch trimac, (2) 1inch convicts, 5inch striped raphael, and 2 of those lil violet gobies that will most likely be killed sooner or later but anyway my trimac is a lil boss lolz he chases the convicts around and swims all around the tank top to bottom ever since the huge pacu is gone HE OWNZ lolz

The convists are too small to breed, in a couple more months they'll be ready. I f you still have the raphel cat, it'll chow on the fry a night. As for the trimac, unless you remove the 2 cons he will have no chance of eating any of the fry.

yeh thats what i was thinking but when they lay eggs i was gonna put em into a 10 gallon and keep the fry in there cuz i have like 2 extra empty 10 gals,,, but anyways as far as the tank aggression the lil trimac is a boss he constantly flares at both of the convicts and follows em around there every move sometimes but he keeps looking them in the eye and the convicts try to run away and the trimac chases and nips at them somtimes,,, the convicts fear him lolz i know exactly what he's saying in fish language,,,"yall are some lil *****es, this iz my motha****en tank"

things will change if the cons become parents. It's like they become possesed. I use a siphon tube to remove the fry,the convict parents attack my and while doing this.
