Picked this guy up, a few weeks ago. Bob Clark/Mike Wilbanks line. Absolute stunner, but a little flighty. He's pushing 10' and full grown. I plan on pairing him up with my 14' female Jampea and having some Super Dwarf, het albino morphs, this season.

And, I'll have some other pics for you guys, come Tues. I'm expecting my Holy Grail, of Retics and am rediculously excited about it.

He's pretty well done growing. He's an 07.

Dwarf is a relative term. Jampea Retics are typically called "dwarf" but I know of some female Jamps that are 16' - 17' long. To me, that's not a dwarf. lol

Genetic Stripes are another "dwarf". I think the biggest one, on record, is a female right at 10.5'.

Breed two "dwarves" together and get Super Dwarf. Males, in that classification, max out at around 5' - 7'. Females, respectively, around 7' - 8'.

"Super Dwarfs" are another locality altogether........

You can't breed a dwarf to a dwarf and get "Super Dwarfs"........Especially with animals that have mainland blood........

Super Dwarfs are different from Jampeas, Balis, and all the other micro locality Retics out there......

Sure you can...but its dependant on the percentage of mainland blood, compared to the percentage of dwarf/super dwarf blood.

I breed this guy to my 100% pure female jampea and the percentage of dwarf bloodlines will be great enough that they can be accurately described as "super dwarf".

You are correct in that there are super dwarf localities but they can also be created thru selective breeding.

nice retic!

we need pics of your entire collection, all wrapped up into one epic post.:headbang2
