I was bored, so I got creative.
I have been wanting to do a pond for so long, unfortunately I live in an apartment and cannot make any changes to the landsape.
So I picked up a 30gal barrel, and a small submersible pump with a filter attachement on it.
Check it out. Only ended up costing me $35 after the barrel/plastic liner/and minipump.
I was thinking maybe a pair of goldfish could go in there for the summer. I put a few of the ones from my tank in there for now. The gravel that's in there came from the tank.
Don't worry, they all didn't stay in there, but they did seem to get right into nibbling on the plants.

Good going .

It's always nice to have a water feature, no matter what size.

Now you could stack a couple and waterfall from one to the other then pump back up :D.

Great Idea, it looks fantastic. You could get some small decorative fish for that rather than the generic goldfish, it could look really sweet. Maybe some guppies.

I think the fish are already in there :lipsseale

1/2 barrel ponds make great summer breeding homes for guppies and Lucania goodiaor bluefin killies.
