Just picked up this little guy and I'm really looking forward to growing him out.

The color is becoming more intense as it grows.

Wow, very cool looking fish. I haven't seen a fish that colored up at such a small size! Can you tell me what species the parents are?
 
Its parents were jack dempseys with recessive genes in them.

Same thing, except the common name 'platinum dempsey' is flawed. 'Platinum' is most commonly used i the hobby to refer to a fish with leucistic gene variation; these are not leucistic, it's just a recessive gene combo.

Great looking electric blue gold dempsey...im waiting for my ebjd and jd to breed, it should be any day now and I also have a couple golds im growing out...I love these fish

that is one of the nicest blue golds i have seen
I had one not too long ago but it had weak genetics so I hope the best for yours
Feed him Flakes (NLS) for now and he will be a stunner :)
