just put them together, your endli is just territorial as time passes it will get use to it,same thing with my ornate,it use to pick on my palmas polli, but stopped after it got use to it

you have a nice collection, how big is your tank?
I used to put mine in a 120g tank, never had any aggression so far, but now they're in a 200g.

thanks...mine was 120g tanks...my endli is in there but my Lap i put in 75g...

just keep the bichirs well fed, and if the endli is like attacking the laps as like dragging the tail and munching on it seriously then you should worry,if its just nipping the fin could be hunger or territorial but lets wait for more opinions and nice bichirs :)

actually one of my recently bought sen is highly aggressive towards other bichir in the same tank, and that is when I put her into my 40g tank together with the other two sen. The new sen used to bite n nip my other two alot, but later on I moved her into a bigger tank where I keep all my monster. So far she blend in just fine, and I havent noticed any aggression from her.
cheers

It's funny that you mention that it's your laps and endli. I had the same problem with mine. My laps would occasionally be missing part of their tail cause as you stated the endlicheris would grab ahold of their tails and not let go. Left the other 12 bichirs alone though.

You can put more bichirs in, it will depress the aggressiveness.
