1 good employee @ Petsmart

My niece got 3 female guppies at Petsmart 2 weeks ago. She didn't isolate them and stuck them in my tank. They had fin rot which eventually killed all but one of my guppies, and a catfish as well.

She told the guy at Petsmart today about it as they were talking about their new shipment of guppies. This guy gave us 3 gorgeous males and 9 females for free to replace the ones lost.

Not all employees are stubborn or uncaring.

No, he gave away 12 for over 18 that died. They infected the entire tank and it killed 17 of the fish I had in my 30 gallon long, and a catfish. He is the manager, so I think he is safe. And he knows we purchase a lot of things from there, not just fish stuff.

I always quarantine new fish for a month before introducing them into a tank with my other fish.

wow-that was pretty nice of him! you should write a letter to his manager praising him! they probably never get those lol..

thats really nice of the employee. but generally petsmart has sick fish. all the tanks are hooked up to one filter and sicknesses can go through all the tanks.
