1 Inch pipe to 1/2 Inch pipe

AS the topic says, I need to adapt 1" to 1/2" pipe. The connector style is 'shown' in the pic below, it's plastic pipe, you slide the hose on and hose clamp it down. Instead I want to convert this fitting down to 1/2"

Anyone have any ideas on how to do this? Thanks!

Either way will work, I was thinking 1/2" hose, but PVC would also work.....

Home Depot or any supply house sells hose reducing bushings.

If you can't find the fitting you need at a home improvement store, try a boating supply store. I needed a barbed reducing fitting that neither Home Depot or Lowe's had, and I found it at West Marine.

Yea HD should have barbed reducers where u just slip 1" over and clamp and the other side slip your 1/2" over and clamp. Clean and easy look.
