1 inch red worms spotted in tank...

Hey all, I posted about this before, but didn't really get a positive answer as to what these are, and if my fish are at rish. Just as the title says, these things look almost like bloodworms you feed your fish. They seem to be in my gravel. They almost look like those really small reddish worms, but these guys are like 50 times there size...anyone?

just wanted to add: these wouldn't be nematodes or roundworms would they? do they hand out in gravel if not in fish?

Is this freshwater? I'd do a waterchange as quick as possible just to be safe.

Sounds like detritus worms. Do they stick up from the substrate and wave around?

rockbass, it is freshwater...
yes noto, they emerge when i do a water change and disturb the gravel...
I think you are right, I just googled them and thats pretty much what they look like!
