1" Monster

Okay so I'm cycling a 50 gallon tank and I have a young 1" Thorichthys aureus in a 20 g hex and just added two Gold Rams (same size as Thorichthys), also have 3 Sterbas Corydoras they will all be moving to the 50 gallon (I know 20ghex sucks) The Thorichthys is a little jerk, chasing the rams and even the cories all the time and displaying colors. Is this just an aggressive fish or just need more room? What tankmates would be suitible in the 50 gallon? Thanks there's not too much info on him, first post here btw.

good tank mates for him would be sajica, cutteri, cons, or any medium sized chichlid. just don't get a pair.

Okay, thanks , anyone else?? I know they're not 'monster' cichlids but I was wondering still if the Cories and Rams will be okay? And if little bully thorichthys will behave in the 50 gallon or if some chasing is normal?? Thankyou.

i think the rams will be ok but not sure about the corys, although im sure they will be ok!

I was thinking once the 50 is cycled of getting a Black con and some Giant Danios for tankmates ish: ish: ish:

those would be fine for tank mates. some cories should be fine if they have lots of places to hide

Thanks, so the Convict wouldn't be mean to the Rams or even little jerkface?

I keep reading that Convicts are really mean, or is that only when they are spawning?

Sorry, I'm just new to Cichlids although they are my favorite already!
