Well its been a month and my PB's are doing well. They eat pretty much everything I put in the tank. I cant believe how fast they grow.

If I had a bigger tank I would get some more PB's, but a 6' 125g isnt nearly big enough to grow out more than 4 IMO

Wow amazing looking pb. I wish i could find those guys in my area and also have an extra 200 gallon tank.

I ordered my 3 ocells off of aquabid from the wetspot in portland oregon for $10 each and the overnight shipping was really reasonable. This was the first time I've got fish in the mail.....lol. they arrived nicely packaged and in good health.

Now go find a big tank.......:naughty:

Wow you must be feeding them really well. If you want to save some money try and get them on pellet. Also they should be okay in a 125 for a year or so.

They have officially wiped out all of my community fish now Im using a 55g to treat my feeders. They eat beefheart and bloodworms already. I wish I could get them to take pellets. I suppose if I starve them for a few days they will eventually take the pellets.......but I hate to make them go hungry

Pbass are stubborn fish to get on pellets. There is a sticky in the cichla forum on how to convert them.

Don't try to starve them, these are the only fish I have kept that would rather die from starvation then take pellets. Patience is key with cichla.

The method in the sticky works, try that when it's time rather then starving them.
