why is it that 1 of my rbp hides 24/7 under this rock in the corner of the tank? i mean he's out n about during feeding but when there's no food in the tank, boom back under that rock. he only comes out for feeding. is there a specific reason? he's only like 2.5" or so. i was thinkin that maybe its a girl marking her territory for breeding in the future? i have no idea, comments?

Here's what worked out for me....I simply raised my reds in a bare tank from 1 inchers...After about 3-4 weeks, they'll come up to anyone near the tank...If not, then they'll just keep swimming or simply post....With exception of turning on the lights in the morning and water changes, my reds never dart or swim away from human prescence...

thanks bro, its kinda to late to try that, there already about 6weeks old and almost 2.5-3 inches.

whos that chick in ur avatar lol

Nose art was developed in WWII...Pilots would paint a symbol or a woman on the nose of their bomber or fighter plane to remind them of home...That chick is my nose art...It's the boo that rides shotgun in my Nissan 240 racer...Earlier this year, I lost my car, my everything...Outside my daily job, the hobby is all I have that keeps me on a positive track...My avatar reminds me of the good times I had and the good times that are come...

BTW...Your reds are still young...Yu can still strip your tank bare...Past experience has shown me that having them constantly exposed to human movement will eventually tame them...
