for about 4/5 months should that work? cause i may be getting aplace of my own and wont bealbe to afford a 55 for about a few months and i dont wanat to get rid of my albino ( has red eyes ) yellowish orangeish oscar so can one be fine as a grow out?? and eventualy i may be getting a 300 gallon rubbermaid in another few months for a lil mini oscar pond. how many oscars can fit in a 300 gallon rubbermaid pond?? i saw one at tractor supply store for 210.00 CHEAP!!

i would just wait till you get the 300gal tub. the oscar will grow out of the 29gal in 3 months. for " how many "O's" in a 300gal tub"? it all depends on the filter your useing.

ok can u gues tell me what the best filter to use?? and can i use a canister filter for the 300?? we have one at our petstore for 100 bucks i may beable to get. Fx15 or sumtin like that.

well then can i grow out one jewl one female JD one sengel bichir and one male convict for now tell i get the 55 in a few months?? after i move IF i even move.

if your on a budget ,like me....cascade makes cheap filters.

you can....IMO.

I think you can keep the oscar in the 29 for 3 months as long as you raise the number of water changes and have good filtration.

Don't do it.. I hope you don't take offense to this but every other post I've seen from you is saying your getting a bigger tank but I never see it happen. If you do move out on your own, money will just be that much tighter.. Don't justify it with saying your getting a bigger tank, get the tank first.

i got an idea for you, why dont u save up for a few months so u can afford to move out and buy the stuff for the 300G ruber maid and filters, and then just put all the fish that u currently own into the rubber maid. u could keep them in what there in now at where ure staying until the ruber maid is ready to have them.
