Hello.. I recently upgraded my tank to 180 gallons from 90.. I moved my sucker fish, 1 12'' oscar, and 1 5" oscar to it.. I also bought 1 loggerhead turtle and threw in some gold fish which are still alive.. I have a tank of peace..

However, since the move, the only fish thats not eating is my Large oscar.. he use to eat pellet after pellets and mealworms, crickets, everything.. The little one eats evereything I put in there.. But the Large oscar would put it in his mouth and spit it out.. Been 7 days since he really ate anything?? Do you think its due to Stress and the change?? Or is he sick?? Hes the only fish thats not eating??

Tank..
Truvu 180 gallong
2 huge 100+ filters.
Clean water
Everything is perfect..

oscars are verry temper mental and have awsome pesonalitys this being said they will pout and not eat when moved mine didnt eat when i got him but eats well now it took him a few days to start eating and he only did when i was about ten feet from the tank so i recomend buying some night crawlers and puting them in there and steping away the oscar is a preditory fish by nature so the worm crawling around shuld trigger a responce and get him to eat just stand away from the tank and see if he eats or not i recomend at least 6 worms in ther do to the other fish good luck

raise the temp slowly, and in the future avoid feeding goldfish. try guppies, mollies, platys, small cichlids i.e. convicts etc etc. also make sure to always quarantine ur feeders.

Also, as a basic prerequisite, check for ammonia to be certain there is none.

Thats what I been hearing.. People been saying to not feed the oscar gold fish.. Any reason why?

in the future please put some initiative into doing some research when u want to know the all mighty question, ''why?''.

Ive done the research for u this time, now gather what u will from it:
