As title says - I have a male “gold” jag cichlid from COTA. Really a great fish and a stunner. He has been alone in a 125 and I’ve just decided to do a community setup in there over a one fish tank.
Wanted to put it out on here first in the hopes of finding someone who was getting the right info already and understood the requirements. So, he’s free if you can show me proof you have the space for him.
I tried him with my male Midas and the Midas wasn’t having it. I also put him in with a tiger Oscar of similar size and some smaller fish and he did ok but he and the Oscar started to square off so I pulled him back out. I think he would do ok in a large setup with several larger fish.
