10 gal tank suggestions

hi guys, I got a saltwater tank about 4 months ago but all I put in it was a few crabs and some liverock and sand. The sand is now completely covered in algae but I have not done anything else with it. I was wondering if anybody had suggestions as to what to do with the tank and where to get the fish. My current lfs does not have saltwater fish so I have to get them off the internet. Thanks for the help.:)
 
Are you talking about setting up a saltwater aquarium in a 10 gallon tank?
 
Yes! I already have the live sand, rock and the cleaner crew but I'm lost after that! Help.
 
it;s probably next to impossible to keep the water in balance in such a small tank.
 
I've done 10 gallon salts - way back before I knew anything about salt tanks - I think the simplicity of them is why they did so well.
I'd suggest cleaning it up, and getting a frogfish or two!
 
there are a few one off fish you can get to keep alone, but there are also some really cool nano fish you can put in. http://www.liveaquaria.com check out there nano fish section. im actually setting mine up right now, the rock, and water went in a few hrs ago.
 
what kind of tank do you actually want FO, FOWLR, RC, PRC? that affects alot what you do next.
 
I'd personally do a mantis shimp. I'll destory everything though..

frogfish? most frogfish can't live in a 10G.
