10 gallon amazon ecosystem

So my zoology teacher from high school is looking at setting up a 10 gallon amazon ecosystem tank, I have helped her with aquariums before but would like some different ideas for stocking this tank?

or you can add leaves a few driftwood , subdued lightning , black water extract , corys and tetras, no plants

Maybe some apistos? keyholes, or dwarf acaras.then a small school of tetras. Collect some round river rocks and driftwood

Yeah the apistos would be nice, and I defiantly get a small school of tetras. What should I get as far as a bottom feeder for the tank?

Amazon swords and some moss. Manzanita driftwood. Sand. Blackwater. Small group of Tetras for the mid level, maybe a few small hatchetfish, and a trio of cories. Thats what id do

ember tetras, ottocinclus (I think those are amazonian) and look into what plant species come from the amazon and what their requirements are
