hi guys im new to this website but not to fishkeeping, i have a question about how best i should set up a planted tank. i currently am planning to set up a ten gallon freshwater tank with: a dense carpet (maybe Eleocharis sp mini) some taller thinner plants in the back and sides (maybe amazon sword plants) and possibly one or two ornamental plants in the middle. For the inhabitants of the tank i was thinking: 3 neon tetras, 3 orange glowlight tetras, and 4 cardnal tetras. i have owned all theese fish in the past but i thought they were really cool so i am going to make a tank based around them and plants! i currently have set up, a 180 gallon with a silver arowana, bala shark, spotted gar, and two large angels. so i have alot of experience with big fish but not with small planted tanks. i know i need proper lighting, a co2 injector and some other things, but i have never tried real plants before because my bala shark has always eaten them. i appreciate any responses to this post, thank you for your time!
(im not sure if this was the right place to post this, if not can it be moved or can i be notified please?)
