Just a day after setting up my 2.5 i had to get another one planted. Heres my sisters little 10 gallon redone with some plants.

Was also able to pick up some nice rummy nose tetras that look gorgeous, as well as a nice dwarf gourami.

Ill try to get some more pics of the tetras but they were kinda far away from the camera and i couldnt get a detailed pic.

Nice simple tank... could i suggest adding some driftwood or maybe some rock work in there to spice things up a little... i think it would really help set off the tank...

+1 for fat homer

I like the look of your baby tears in the corner like that. Pretty Gourami also!

I don't like the symmetry of the tank. In the one landscape design class I learned to plant in groups of three to look more natural as a general suggestion.

Just my 2 cents. Good luck!

Looks great but just an FYI Dwarf gouramis are a pain in the ass.

Thanks for the replys, i will try to find a good small piece of driftwood to put in there... The problem is that most shops around here dont have the wood in there tanks and i dont want yellow water, as well as floating wood.

Why are dwarfs a PITA?

If you don't want tanned water, stay away from wood. Get some nice looking rocks for the hard-scape. I bought a box of petrified wood from e-bay [$10].

Getting flat rate boxes of rocks from e-bay is much cheaper then getting some rock from a LFS. Good Luck

Home Depot will give you slate rocks for free if they are broken off pieces that are unusable in landscape for pave ways. Its much cheaper than buying rocks you just have to make sure they are safe by treating them. If they are slate they should be safe though. Check online for other "safe" rocks
