the embed doesn't work for me but the links work. what do i love? just the fact that i'm about to attempt my first planted tank and your post gives a lil inspiration. it's not often that you see the progress posted, especially not in small tanks
 
dude that marine land led is sickkkk

ive been searching for one for a while but havent seen em in the lfs

it seems like its working well with the plants think i might have to pick one of these up
 
Honestly, it's working really well. Amazing plant growth in only 60 days for a light thats only 6W. However theres a new model on the market called "Reef Capable" and this same size is actually 21W. I would verymuch like to try that one as this one- despite growing plants nicely- is a bit dim in comparison to the other fishtank in the room which has 220W of compact fluorescents.

I would suggest using white sand and lighter coloured background with the Marinelamd Double Dright LED system.
