I'm not sure I'm posting this in the right section but ive had some breeding going on in my 10 gallon planted tank lately. My pair of cory catfish have made a couple stabs at breeding in the last months and last week they succeeded, I now have ~21 wrigglers doing well in the breeder.
In doing my daily water change today i noticed another odd occurrence. It was a sort of translucent gelatinous blob, with lots of white specs throughout its mass attached to the glass of the aquarium. Upon closer inspection i found similar masses scattered on the rocks in the tank, mostly occurring within little crevasses.. I'm assuming that these are a different type egg and thus must belong to someone else in the aquarium. My question is: who?
I have the cory's but i know its not them, also in the tank is a group of ~6neons, 3 signifer rainbows, 2 baby rams, and a cluster of snails.. All i want to hear is that its not snails, if its anything else I will save the eggs and hope for the best but if its snails then I have an extermination mission on my hands.
I attached some pics but the quality is not very good. You can see the egg mass I'm talking about in the 4th picture.
Thanks for the help!
