hey so i gotta betta and one corydora in my ten gallon im thinking of adding some type of small fish like neons or somethin but i just wanted some advice of a good ten gallon small nice lookin fish...
thnx :)

anything with bright colors or long fins will be attacked by the betta

i would say put him in a fish bowl and then get some nice tetras for the 10 gal

^ i agree

..thats not true with ALL bettas and he is better off int he 10 gallon not in a bowl, iv bred bettas for years..it all depends on YOUR betta i have had very docile males, and over aggressive females. i would try adding some neons and watching for fin nipping its your bettas territory so he might chase them around a bit but if no fin nipping or damage comes to them then you are good to go but honestly your betta will do better and be happier in the 10 gallon.

look for things with out long flowing fins to keep the chances of aggression down.

i had bettas of both sexes ( at different times ) living in my fancy guppy tank with out any problems.

i wouldn't say put the betta in a bowl. I have a betta in most of my tanks.
Test your betta first. Does he flair up at you anytime? I have a betta in my angelfish tank and I also have a betta in my guppy/platy tank without any issues.

my betta is pretty docile, ive kept him with swordtails in the past with out anyproblems, ireally feel better keeping him in a tank rather than a bowl...

you can do that? i would think a betta would for sure attack any angelfish due to their long flowing fins...
so other than neons ne other good fishto keep with him?
