10 gallon sumo for 20 gallon tank...

I would like to try out a sump on my 20 gallon tank...since so small maybe just need a 10 gallon sp...have my 20 gallon running right now with an emoty 10 gallon tank...my question now is where do I go from here...

TTT I'm actually thinking of doing this on my 20L gal nano reef. But I dont know the first thing about them.
