I got 18 yellow labs today and im scared to put them in my 45 gallon with my jack dempsey the labs are 2 inch and the jack dempsey is a female and shes 4 inches the 10 gallon tank i got the labs in has plenty of hiding spaces and i put some dead coral in to raise ph... i dont know i kinda feel like im crowding the tank does anyone know if i can put them with the jack demspey and itll be fine. im thinking if i provide lots of hiding i think itll work for now or until the jd grows or spawns eggs

18 labs would be pushing a 55 gallon when close to full grown.
take them back or get a 55 or 75 gallon for them.
wow 18 yellow labs is alot it may work cuz their would be so many the jd would not know who to go after

either take back the labs or take back the JD . . . truth is, your 45G is probably too small for either

i think im gonna try to put 10 into my 45 with the jd and leave 8 in the 10 gallon for now im gonna leave the really small ones in the 8
i got a filter thats built for 125 gallon tanks and water never has any problems i do 25% every 2 weeks and parameters are fine

Great news might get a 55 gallon by next month just for the yellow labs and my frotosas (just noticed the dude i bought my labs form gave me 4 of them)
