How about putting a 2" BGK with 6 2" malawi cichlids in a 10 gallon tank...
Just for the BGK to be he's tank while he was too small for my 510 gal. with bichirs...

That tank is overstocked. Small BGKs grow pretty quickly until 6"-7" and slow down a bit. At 2" it'll probably outgrow that tank in a couple of months. It's growth can be stunted in an overstocked tank.

Besides the over stock tank problem, most of the fish the op has in the 10 gl - they tend to go 'stir crazy' in such a small tank. Then the fish become ill from being so stressed. Not trying to be a 'know it all', since I'm sortof a nube yet, but this has been one of my own mistakes. I've used a 10 gl for quarentine, and realized later that it was not a good idea.

well, talking about time... It's just for their temporarily tank... they're about to go to they're new 110 gal. for the next two months... so I'm just thinking if it is enough for them to live on a 10 gal. for two months?

The best way to cure stunted fish is prevention. If you plan on using the 10g with all those fish, a 50% water change every other day would help. There have been members who have raised stunted fish back to normalcy, but it takes time and dedication to make sure the water is pristine, good variety of food, and a large tank.
