How deep (front to back) of a plywood tank could you make using a 1/2 inch tempered piece of glass 10'x 28"? I have checked garf and the calc doesn't recommend any tank that big. I was thinking 12'x36"x30" of could I go 48" deep?

1/2 is pretty thin , so u can't go too high . but since water pressure is calculated by depth , isn't technically , the width of the tank could be any size since pressure would still be the same ? or m i making things up ? haha . hope someone else will pop in with more reliable info 
I believe tempered glass is stronger than naormal glass so you may be able to get away with what you want to do if you can find an aquarium building shop i'd ccheck with them.
