Don't sure exactlly how to develop flower.
I used to believe if we kept in cement tank may help it better dev.
But my friend make my don't sure now.

I have been told of that too...cement tank...and put outside...

agree with tunblue and oleoleole...however based on my experience even if d flowers developed you wont get to see much as judging on the bands it's short and not wide.
hope i'm wrong...anyway good luck

approx. 8' i think..i got it from batu pahat LFS at RM8-00. at that time i bought 6 of them then brought it back home choosed this fella then d rest 5 released into the river. however i'm still looking around for better ones then i will give this fella away...
