10" Motoro Compatible with 5" Datnoid

i doubt it .. i have some motoros with my dats and they hang out together .. the dats are fast enough to get away if they rays try to nip .. i would say its safe .. but wait for some of the more exp guys to chime in
 
should not be a problem. 5in dat would be too big to eat. Although the ray may kill it in the process of trying to eat it.

keep your ray well fed and you should not have a problem.
 
I had a 10" motoro pin an 8" red severum against the glass and hold it there until the ray let go.... i think she was just curious.... Id say its possible for the ray to kill the dat, but it still should work.
 
I got 7 inch motoro. one of my indo is only 3 inch. Never seen ray try to smother or eat the little guy.
I feed everyday though....
Bryant.... You should feed evey other day just in case.

should be fine. i go for a week without feeding my tank sometimes. and out of the 3 rays they all are fine.
 
my rays are 4" and 7" and dats are 3"-5"

the are 2 dats that kinda hang out in the corners of the tank but i think that has more to do with the other dats then the rays... sometimes the rays will go at the dats but never fast enough to hurt them .. seems more playful then anything
