I put him in my show tank after i did a 50%water change for a few hour, 11" Oscar, 8" synspilum, 9"pearsei, and a few others that are around 6". Well came home and saw they beat him up. Nothing to bad. Move him to a 75gal divided up and came home few hours later and he looks in really bad shape. I don't know what to do.ImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1376284772.438252.jpg

if he's still breathing don't bury him. I had a jaguar beat to the extent of certain death. Entire right side of body scales removed to the flesh, it looked like freddy krueger's face and her fins were ripped off. She was laying on her side when i found her with no energy to move. I immediately put her in a solo tank dropped salt and mela fix and let her be. Today, she's completely healed everything back and healthy as ever.

IF he begins to heal, you may notice white tufts of crap, don't mind it and just keep using salt everyday with melafix or some type of anti bacterial med. I would drop a pinch full right next to her but not directly on her.

Well I think the last thing you should have done was take it out of water and lay it on a table to take pictures of it!!!! I bet that added a whole lot more stress on him... I would do what Shawn said and do it as fast as you can before it does die... Good luck with it brother I hope Freddy makes it!!!

Cichlids can be brutal, it sucks when your other fish you like kill new fish you like. Or the other way around... it just becomes bittersweet for a lil haha
