i would think higher. im guessing out of the one in my LFS its 50$ for a 6in ill say around 85$? mabey less?

In my experience GGs go down in price once they get too big, 10 inch as a good selling price at $50 as ithas a much better chance of a sell, much bigger and less people can house them.

I agree, its the same as redtailed cats and silver arowanas, the prices go up until the 8-12" range and then drop again, often, they drop so much that the fish are free and delivered right to your door- some even come with a sack of food!

wouldnt bother me any if people started bringing be big ass cool fish with free food then i could stop buying and growing them up to be big
