Hope he starts to get the darker black base soon. Over the last 3 months has def gatten darker and gets darker at certain times. Is the darkest during a water change

More pics and thanks for the compliments. I can't wait to see how this leo turns out. The flower will start to darken soon its about 12" or so. I got lucky finding one that seems so stable versus all the horror stories you hear about these guys. Have had him well over a year now and competes will a lot of other aggressive fish and dominates
