100 gal con tank

I have a 100 gallon acrylic tank with a fuval 404 with 2 pink convicts i bought yesterday. The female is about 1.5 - 2 inches and the male is about 2 but thicker. When should they breed or will they breed
 
no offense to you or anything but a 100 acrylic tank for a pair of convicts ...is kinda a waste in my oppinion i would add something else to that tank like..some firemouths or maybe some dithers like danios or marbs for some movement trust me man your gonna want more stuff in ther...
 
its just for cycling now i'm going to put a tex and 3 firemouths that are all a slight bit bigger than the cons and in about a year i'm going to be upgrading to a 300 and keep the firemouths in the 100. The cons are just for cycling right now but if they get along with the oithers i''m going to keep them
 
igiht thats cool...i was gonna say i would put some dovii in there..or some red devils..
 
i would love a dovii but none of my LFS have any besides 1 but that ig boy is already 7 inches. I have 3 red devil in a 120 but they like the 120 and they are already buds i dont want to break them up
