100 gal tank set up

ok so im getting a 100 gal 2 day and i was wondering what would be the right steps to set it up and get the chemical right before i add fish so any info would help

Try getting some Bio Spira it adds alot of the beneficial bacteria you need to get your tank started.

ok so i have rock i got from cali and i was also wondering if i could put them in fill it up and let it cycle or if i should boil them first

i find u dont have to boil or bake a rock very long (10 min boil, 20 or so min bake) as they get rather hot fast, so not much hassle.

A bigger issue is to make sure it doesn't affect the pH and KH. Put some acid, like vinegar, on the rock, and if it fizzes, don't use it at all.
