100 Gal. Tank Stocking.. help!

Hi all,

I'm in the process of establishing a 100 gal tank for my daughter.

I already had some cichlids, 2 pink severums and 2 irridescent sharks in a gutted refridgerator in the back yard.

I'm really trying to get suggestions on some exciting fish to mix in this tank. Ghost knife, blood parrots maybe?

Any suggestions welcomed

How old is your daughter and is this her first tank?

you could do a black ghost knife for the bottom, just make sure that while it is still little that it is getting enough to eat, since most of them are very shy when little, also you need to rehome the 2 irridescent sharks unless you have an extremely large pond for them to go into, these guys are adorable when little so many find them irresistable but they are a schooling fish that gets over 3ft long and soo need extremely large habitats. i would get rid of the sharks, add the ghost knife and maybe add a different color severum and some silver dollars or something, making sure that all the sevs are males, breeding pair will just cause headaches with extra aggression, also most of us here in this section dont like the blood parrots since we dont think too highly of hybrids so you may want to post another thread in the hybrid section as well asking about them if you like them GOOD LUCK

They are either gold or red severums. Ive never heard of a "pink".
Irredecents get hugggge, so id scratch that idea. Id say get some peaceful cichlids like geos, sevs, chocolates, uaro, and a nice pleco.

If you want the tank to be peaceful I would suggest like a few others have already Severums they are great fish that are very peaceful. Also if you can find any maybe some Acaras and some rainbows(also very peaceful fish).
