100 galllon tank setup.

I am looking for some ideas on decorating my tank. I have 1 Jag,2 JDs, a Sailfin Pleco and a Tiger Oscar. They seem to dig like crazy and are always moving around the decorations. I am looking for something that would more mimic their natural environment. I use 3M black substrate which really brings on the cichlids color I have found.

I would reduce your stock first, unless you have a bigger tank for them already.

Yeah I have been thinking lately that I have to many fish for a 100 gallon. I just dont know where to start. I have had them for a long time.

You wont decorate your Cichlid tank. Your Cichlids will. at least that was the way my tank went. my female took all the gravel from one side and built a mountian on the other. No 1/4 of my tank was bare bottom lol

And if you dont wanna get rid of any of your stock theres always a fix for that. another tank! plus more fish!

i have 2 tiger oscars they got rid of every live plant i bought exept a java fern thats low to the gravel, plastic ones always end up floating. i have a buddy who uses sinkers with his plants

Yeah, thats my experience so far. I guess I was hoping If I mimic their environment more they would find others things do rather than tear up my tank. lol
