Should the center of my tank be bowing? The bottom is tuching the cross braces on my stand. This is my first acrylic tank and this is kind of scary.

I'd maybe cut a piece of 3/4" plywood to fit the top of your stand and give your tank extra support.

Yes, welcome to MonsterFishKeepers. I too have a 100G acrylic, and it does not bow. I suggest listening to pcfriedrich.
That is going to be so much fun. I just about have to tear the whole tank down. Cut a piece to fit in a flat back hex stand. I love this hobby so much!!!

The bottom bows down to the cross supports and no i don't have plywood on it. this is my first acylic tank.

a lot of stands just support around the edge of the aquarium. cheap oak stands and metal stands, for example.
I bet, though, that you could have the people at home depot's lumber department custom cut the piece for you, for a small fee, of course.
