I apologize in advance for the crappy shots. One day I won't buy fish things and I'll get a better digital camera. I'm doing the best I can with zero optical zoom. It's sad because they're really very nice fish, and I do know how to take photos. It's just with a non-digital 35mm.
King of the tank. V. argentea
H. carpintis "Escondido". Male?
Few of the A. rivulatus growouts (I have 5) and a C. myersi.
C. myersi. Very cool fish. I've got two right now.
Regani, A. rivulatus, and A. robertsoni. The regani is at the bottom of the pecking order out of all, but doesn't seem to mind.
A. festae with A. robertsoni. I keep going back and forth on the sex of the festae. This photo looks boyish, most times it has a darker dorsal without the spangles on the fins. That's just from the flash.
Full tank shot. 72"X18"X18". I need to go find more rocks and driftwood from the river I think. Break the tank up more and lose the clay pots. The three largest plants all came from craft stores.
Lastly (in a seperate tank), my "P. fenestratus 'blue face'" according to the LFS. It's Conkel stock...and looks nothing like a fene. Odd thing is, all the other 'blue faced fenes' are morphing into a red form. It's a beautiful fish, I just don't know what it is. Lots of blue, with yellow above the lateral line. Red on the face and unpaired fins. Zonatus maybe?
