Hey everybody, Ive been active in the cichlid hobby since early 2002, and Ive recently joined the MFK forums. Here is a peek of my latest creation, a 100 gallon all glass aquarium I got through a friend of a friend for only 200 bucks for the tank, filter and stand. It was previously a live reef tank so as you can imagine I put alot of work into getting all the sand out of it and carefully cleaning out the Fluval 404 and all the hoses and parts. I have since added my old aquaclear 200, a large airstone, and a ZooMed Powersweep 214 power head to help with flow and gas exchange.

Here is a photo of the day after I filled it up and added feeders to cycle it. I'm still running two 30 in. fluorescent bulbs.

My now 13 inch oscar that I bought from petco as a baby in 2002 and my JD that I purchased from a LFS in feb. They are anxiously waiting for their new home to cycle in this pic.

Here is an updated pic from two days ago. The fish are thriving and I have since added a 4 inch Buttikoferi, a 5 inch managuense, and a XL Pleco. I also have live plants now too, the java fern is thriving but my fish have managed to almost desamate all of my Large amazon sword plants! :irked:

More pics to come..

Yes, I have been debating on getting a polleni/bleekeri or maybe raising a small Dovii in there until he get's too big and nasty and then I can find a bigger tank for him. What else do you guys think I should get?
