Looking to stock a 100 gallon 5' tank. I was thinking maybe a green terror to start, a salvini, possibly a Nicaragua cichlid (could have got that name wrong). Let me know some are fish that work with these guys. And possibly some good dither fish for aggressive cichlids. I should also mention theres about an 8" featherfin catfish already occupying the tank.

You would probably get better responses in the Cichlid forum rather than FAQ section.

If you were to put all 3 cichlids in the tank together as juvies, at the same time, and allow them to set up a territorial hierarchy it might work.
By normal cichlid standards I think of Andinoacara and nicaraguense as mild mannered, but the Salvini are to me, one of the "most aggressive" Central American cichlids, so adding piecemeal may be a problem.
And because the Nic and the Salvini both have predominant yellow coloration, I believe the Salvini will see the other as a direct competitor and eventually kill it.
