[FONT=verdana, geneva, lucida, 'lucida grande', arial, helvetica, sans-serif]I just bought a 5'X1.5'X2' tank( estimated measurments, Im not by the tank right now.)It's 100 gallons. I'm not really worried about being slightly overstocked since im over filtered and do large water changes. I just dont want to be way too overstocked. My current stocking right now is:
1 Jack Dempsey (6")
1 Tiger Oscar (7")
1 Albino Oscar (2")
2 Plecos (4" and 10")
1 Senegal Bichir (9")
1 Blood Red Parrot (Fat and 5")
1 Leporinus (7")

I'm going to rescue another 10" Bichir and two 16" gars(Owner said that they havent grown in 2 years, so it must be one of the smaller species)
This should be my final stocking for this tank. So far, all the fish get along fine. No aggresion or bullying, no fighting, nothing. Lots of plants, rocks, and things for teriitorial reasons. I have alot of experience with fish, but I've never had a tank this big. Thanks for any help.

OK 100 gallons isnt too big and it wont matter how good your filtration is because your stock would overstock 2 100 gallon tanks. Gars dont do good with cichlids unless you have a large tank like 200+.

With your list and size of fish, you'd be better off going with a 200+ gallon tank. That will allow sufficient space for a background (if you wish), plants, and structures, with plenty of swimming room for the fish.
