my custom made 100 gallon tank has finally arrived. Dimensions 48" L x 20" W x 24" H.
The stocking I have in mind is
1 x Tiger Oscar
6 x Silver Dollar

Do you reckon this stock list would work?
Any other suggested additions?

Thanks in advance.

You won't be able to grow any plants or keep any snails in there, but otherwise it should be good.

Silver dollars generally do better in a 6ft tank and 100 gallons is about as small as I would go for an Oscar personally. It's a bit tiny.

I would just leave it with the Oscar. SD's are skittish and will make the Oscar more skittish.

Anything you reckon to keep with the Oscar instead then?
Luckily my LFS can order in a huge range of fish.

Personally, I love that setup. I would keep as is, but if you want another fish try a bottom dweller like a Sun Cat or even a Poly.

Really? I used to use Silver Dollars to get my shy cichlids to come out of their cave and stop hiding. I know that Bala Sharks can be skittish, but have never owned SDs that were skittish, especially when grouped with 4 or more.
