Anyone feed their bass 100% pellets and nothing else? My Monos are addicted to massivore pellets and I can’t get them to eat shrimp or talpia fillets. Will my fish be ok long term? They are about 6-8 inches long.

Isn’t full pellet based diet the best? Why switch to meats if they already eat pellets?
This a tuff discussion because some people believe in feeding a full pellet diet and some frozen/fresh or 50/50.
For me personally i feed a huge variety of foods. Different pellets, hikari freeze dried krill, frozen shrimp and tilapia. I even mix it up and stuff shrimp with pellets etc. Imo cichla are thin in the wild so i never feed until thier 100% full which pellets imo tend to do due to the fillers. But some even feed treated feeders which i will be doing soon. Basically a wide variety of foods is better imo.

You're good. I had all my fish on pellets with no problems.
I feed my cichla a variety of foods with pellets making up the majority of their meal.I also have had issues with my fish not wanting anything else besides massavore pellets.
