Can 1-2 of these be kept in a 75G with smaller fish?
How big will they normally get?
Are they aggressive?
Are they active?
How fast do they grow?
Is $22 a good price for a 3 incher?


ok its not 100 questions, but i seen some at the store today and am kinda interested in them. just give any info on them that you can. personal experience is my favorite kind of info.....waiting to hear from Barley pop!
 
yes they would be fine in a 75

they well get 12" or so but it will tank quite awhile. they get to 5-6" fast then slow down

not agrro at all i keep mine with bleeding heart tetra and they are fine

they are somewhat active

$22 is a little high but you have to get them when you can as you will not see them every day.

ok thanks barley...i am more than likely going to get these instead of a sev and a blue acara since this is the first time i have seen them here. they will be in with my 6 sajica and female con....well you know what i got from a previous thread. is it ok to just get 1? or do they not do well by themselves? i have pretty much decided to break the sajica down to 3 when the get bigger.....2 females-1 male or maybe just one pair...still havent made that decision for sure.
 
they really need to be in atleast a pair.

if you get one it will not thrive and will tend to hide alot

and they will do great with the Sajica. I had my sajaci and uaru together for awhile and it looked really good !!
 
yes that is one of the common names for them. and the triangle cichlid and waroo. that is all i can think of now :confused:
