Thought Id share my tank. This tank used to house varous CA cichlids until we lost power for 7 days in December and I lost all my stock. I decided to go back as a planted tank. It has a Filstar XP4 canister, Aquaclear 110 HOB. 130watt PC and a 108watt HOT5 fixture. Flourite/Eco/Laterite substrate...manzanita and rock I collected from a local stream. Fish are 3*F0 Guyana Angels, 3 Rosy barbs, 30 nerite snails, 12 Corydoras, 5*F0 L010A Lizard Cats and 4 mutt bristlenoses. I plan to add 20 Cardinal tetras, 1 pair of F0 German Blue Rams, and 5 more Rosy barbs. I may also add 2-3 SAE as well.

wow that aquascaping looks really professional. i always try to make my tank look natural but it always ends up looking like a little kid designed my tank. :)

Gorgeous! Your tank should be submitted for tank of the month too!!

nice, and just a warning cardinals are a snake for angelfish in the wild, so if you do get some cardinals, i would watch the angelfish as see how they respond to the cardinals.

Thanks everyone :)

I definatly wouldnt say the scape is professional as it is so simple and my choice of mostly ferns, crypts and anubias is also quite fool proof. I may enter it in some comps when it finishes growing out some...the swords on the left back corner still need to gain some height.

Im ordering adult cardinals, and my angels are extremely well fed...it *should* be ok. But if they pick off one here or there I wont mind, cardinals are fairly cheap replacements :)

your tetras might be munched by your angels in the long run D:
